The Akai AM-A201 is a MIDI keyboard controller that allows you to generate and manipulate musical notes using software on a computer or other MIDI-compatible device. The A201 features 25 keys, each with velocity sensitivity for expressive playing, as well as octave and transpose functions for expanding the range of the keyboard. It also includes pitch bend and modulation wheels, sustain and volume pedal inputs, and a built-in arpeggiator for generating complex chord progressions and melodic patterns. Additionally, the AM-A201 supports plug-and-play MIDI connectivity, allowing you to connect it to your computer or other MIDI devices without any additional setup required.
