Brand: Akai

The Akai CR-80-SS is a digital drum machine that was released in 1987. It offers 10 drum voices, including bass drum, snare drum, hi-hat, ride cymbal, three tom toms, conga, and open and closed hi-hats. The machine also provides a Pattern Sequencer feature that allows users to create up to four pattern sequences of up to 32 steps each, which can then be combined to create longer songs. It also comes with a built-in metronome, fine tuning of individual sounds, and the ability to trigger external devices with its MIDI Out port. The Akai CR-80-SS was a popular choice for musicians and producers in the late '80s and early '90s, due to its affordability and user-friendly interface. Its unique sound and features can still be heard in many popular songs and productions today.
