Stage One of the Aragon Grand Prix, taking place on September 25, 2021, at the Motorsport Circuit of Aragon in Alcañiz, Spain, marked the start of the 2021 MotoGP World Championship's 15th event of the season. In this stage, all four MotoGP classes, including MotoGP, Moto2, and Moto3, hit the track for their respective races.In the MotoGP category, defending champion Joan Mir took the pole position in qualification. But it was his fellow Spaniard, Aleix Espargaró, who emerged victorious in the race, marking his second premier-class win and becoming the first rider to do so for Aprilia Racing. Acosta led the race for most of the time but made a mistake, which allowed Foggia to take the lead. However, Acosta regrouped and made a bold move with three laps remaining, passing Foggia to secure the victory. This result saw a shake-up in the championship standings, with Acosta now leading the way by just four points.Stage One of the Aragon Grand Prix witnessed some intense and exciting racing action, setting the stage for the following stages to come.
